Training and nutrition
Software for personal trainers and nutritionists
FitConnect Pro lets a personal trainer and a nutrition professional support the same client through separate relationships. Each professional manages their own work, while the client follows their assigned plans and records progress in one platform.
How it works for one client
| Participant | Work in the platform |
|---|---|
| Personal trainer | Plans workouts and sessions, and follows progress within their client relationship. |
| Nutrition professional | Organises meal plans and communication within their own client relationship. |
| Client | Follows assigned work, records progress and contacts each professional. |
Professional-created materials are tied to the relationship that produced them. Access to client-recorded progress follows product permissions; this is not a freely shared editing space.
Example: setting up training and nutrition for one client
- The client starts a relationship with a personal trainer, who assigns a workout plan and follows completed sessions.
- The same client starts a separate relationship with a nutrition professional, who manages their own nutrition plan.
- The client opens the assigned work, records progress and contacts the relevant professional from their account.
- Each professional reviews the work within their relationship. Neither gets an unrestricted shared editor for the other's plans.
If you need both professionals to co-edit one clinical record or see every private note, check the permissions before choosing a platform. The separate-relationship model is designed for coaching workflows.
When it fits
When a client works with separate training and nutrition specialists and each professional needs structured plans, sessions, messages and progress in a single client-facing platform.
What to check first
Check each professional's scope of practice, permissions for client data, current service availability and pricing for your client count. Clinical records or treatment decisions need a system built for that purpose.
Frequently asked questions
- Can a client work with a personal trainer and a nutritionist at the same time?
- Yes. A client can have active relationships with more than one professional. Each relationship has its own speciality, and professional-created content belongs to that relationship.
- Can both professionals edit the same client record?
- Do not assume a shared professional record. Plans and materials created by one professional belong to that professional's client relationship. Some progress recorded by the client may be available to professionals with an active relationship, subject to product permissions.
- Does FitConnect Pro replace clinical care?
- No. FitConnect Pro organises training and nutrition workflows. It does not diagnose conditions or choose treatments. Each professional remains responsible for working within their qualifications and scope of practice.
